THROATCUT. intricately weaves a narrative of personal struggle, resilience, and raw authenticity. Emerging from the ashes of a previous project, the band was born out of a desire to pursue a more visceral, authentic and unfiltered creative vision. THROATCUT.’s music delves deep into an odyssey of confronting external adversaries and internal demons, resonating with themes of defiance, vulnerability, and redemption in an ambivalent world of freedom and dependence. Recognizing THROATCUT.’s raw potential, they were signed by Arising Empire after the release of just three singles. Now, as they continue to carve their path, the band is poised to bring their dark, unrelenting vision to the world stage.
In summer 2025 THROATCUT. released their debut full-length album Resilience. on Arising Empire. The album’s title is also its theme: as one critic notes, Resilience. is about “survival, struggle, and transformation,” serving as a mission statement for the band. The record delivers “a ferocious blend of metalcore intensity, searing emotion, and unfiltered aggression, reflecting the band’s confrontational yet cathartic style” Leading up to the album, THROATCUT. issued hard-hitting singles – for example, “death//rebirth.” (May 2025) was described as “a brutal statement of intent: raw, relentless, and dripping with emotion” ,while “creep.” (January 2025) “weaves a narrative of self-reflection and resilience”* . These tracks set the tone for the album. Resilience. quickly resonated with fans: within its first cycle it amassed over 240,000 streams and helped the band reach more than 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify .
